The money goes straight into your Aadhaar-linked bank account. Amounts and dates can change, so please confirm on the official site.

## Who can apply, and who cannot?

You must be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh. Your agricultural land must be inside the state.

Small farmers with less than five acres of land get preference.

Tenant farmers with CCRC cards and tribal farmers can apply if the government has granted them rights to use the land.

Only one member of a family gets the aid. A family means husband, wife and minor children.

Serving government staff and retired workers are excluded. So are pensioners earning over Rs 10,000 a month. Class IV and multi-tasking staff are the exception.

People in constitutional posts, and current or past MPs, MLAs and mayors, are also excluded.

## A short background: what is this scheme?

Annadata Sukhibhava is a state scheme run by the Andhra Pradesh agriculture department.

It works along with the central PM-Kisan scheme. The state adds its own money on top of the Centre's Rs 2,000 each instalment.

The revamped scheme was introduced to help farmers buy seeds, fertilisers and manage their fields.

## What documents should you keep ready?

Keep your land proof ready. This can be a Pattadar Passbook or the Record of Rights, known as 1B.

Keep a bank passbook. The account must be linked with Aadhaar and enabled for the Aadhaar Payment Bridge System.

Keep an active mobile number that is linked to your Aadhaar.

## How do you apply?

For a new application, go to your village secretariat or the Rythu Seva Kendra, known as RSK.

Give your land and bank documents and your Aadhaar details. The officer will record your application.

Make sure your crop details are registered in the state e-Crop system, as this is required.

## How do you check your status, and what if payment is stuck?

Open annadathasukhibhava.ap.gov.in and click Know Your Status.

Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number. The page shows your profile, e-Crop status, eKYC status and bank mapping.

If you see Payment Pending, Ineligible or Hold, the most common fix is biometric e-KYC. Visit your nearest Rythu Seva Kendra to complete it.

You can also call the helpline 155251 for payment problems.

## What should you watch out for?

Never pay anyone to register you or to speed up your payment. Registration and checks are free.

Use only the official portal and the helpline. Be careful of agents who ask for your Aadhaar or bank OTP.
