He said the video has gone viral and warned that such carelessness before Diwali could endanger other road users.

### Key points

- A viral video shows fireworks being fired from a moving car on the Dwarka Expressway.
- Police have started an investigation, and a senior officer said action will follow the law.
- No accident has been reported in connection with the incident.
- News Anek has not independently verified the location or the details of the clip.

## What do news reports say about the clip?

The Tribune reported that a group of youths set off fireworks from a moving car.

It said the driver fired a sky shot while steering with one hand.

The Free Press Journal described a white Hyundai car. It said a man fired firecrackers through an open window.

The two reports differ on details, including who was inside the car.

In the clip attached to the post, a white car travels on an elevated road lined with streetlights.

Smoke and sparks appear in the night sky above it. The clip alone does not confirm the exact place or date.

## Has anyone been arrested so far?

Separately, Gurugram Police arrested a 24-year-old man over a different viral video.

That video showed high-speed stunts on the Dwarka Expressway, and the police seized the car.

The reports do not clearly say this is the same incident as the fireworks clip.

News Anek has not confirmed a link between the two.

A police spokesperson said the department is monitoring social media videos and public complaints.

He said violators will face strict legal action.

## Why does this matter for commuters in India?

Fireworks fired from a moving vehicle can hit other cars or cause panic.

Local residents told the Tribune that a sky shot could cause a major accident.

So what does this mean for drivers? Safety rules apply to every road user, especially during festival season.

Police say the probe into this clip is still under way.
