We work hard to be accurate, but we will sometimes make mistakes. When we do, we correct them openly.
How to report an error
Email contact@newsanek.com with the link to the story or post, what you think is wrong, and any source that shows the correct information. You can also send us a message on Instagram at @newsanek24.
What we do
- We review every request, usually within 24 hours.
- If a fact is wrong, we correct the story and add a note at the end that says what was changed and when.
- If the error is serious, such as a wrong name, number or claim about a person, the correction note goes at the top of the story.
- For social media posts, we correct the caption where the platform allows it, or post a correction and pin it.
- We do not quietly delete stories to hide mistakes. If we remove a story, we explain why.
Updates
When a story develops, we may add new information. Updated stories show an "Updated" note with the date.
