Who can apply?
- You must be 20 to 30 years old on 1 August 2026. This date is from the last notice, so check the new one.
- OBC (non-creamy layer) get 3 extra years, SC and ST get 5, and persons with disability get 10 more. Ex-servicemen also get relaxation as per the notice.
- Education: at least a graduate degree.
- SBI PO minimum age is 21.
- You must be a citizen of India, unless the notice allows others.
How does the selection work?
Prelims, Mains, then the Interview.
How do you apply?
- When the notice is out, register on ibps.in for that exam.
- Upload your photo, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration.
- Fill your details and choose your exam centre.
- Pay the fee online.
- Download the call letter from ibps.in before each stage.

When does the notice come out?
IBPS publishes a yearly calendar. The PO notice usually comes around July or August. SBI PO has its own notice on sbi.co.in.
