Indian Bank has opened 1,500 apprentice seats, the biggest opening this week.

Students and job seekers have a few other options too, from a research post in Gwalior to a training programme at SAIL Rourkela.

This roundup has three parts. First, the openings. Second, one side-income idea. Third, a government loan scheme.

Key points

  • Indian Bank has 1,500 apprentice seats, with applications open till November 25, 2026.
  • Paytm offers a nine-month internship in Karimnagar, with applications till November 10, 2026.
  • PM Mudra Yojana gives collateral-free loans for small businesses.
  • Always check eligibility on the official site before you apply.

So what openings are on the table this week?

The biggest one is Indian Bank's apprenticeship.

The bank has announced 1,500 seats for the 2026-27 financial year, under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Graduates aged 20 to 28 can apply, as on November 1, 2026.

The stipend is Rs 12,300 to Rs 15,000 a month, for a 12-month training period.

Applications run from November 5 to November 25, 2026, through the NATS 2.0 portal.

Careers360 and Jagran Josh both reported these dates. Education Times also gave the same window.

Candidates who already have one year or more of work experience after graduation are not eligible.

This is training, and it does not guarantee a permanent job.

Paytm is offering a nine-month internship in Karimnagar district.

It is under the Prime Minister's Internship Scheme, and The Hans India reported it.

The role is Oil and Gas Sales Trainee. Selected candidates get Rs 9,000 a month. Class 10 pass candidates can apply.

Applications must be filed on the official PM Internship Scheme portal by November 10, 2026.

A smaller research role is open at ABV-IIITM Gwalior.

It is an intern or research assistant post on an industry-funded IoT project, and it pays Rs 6,000 a month.

Monthly stipends across this week's openings
Indian Bank apprentice (top of range)Rs 15,000

Students still doing a B.Tech can apply, if their field relates to the project.

The last date is November 10, 2026, according to FreeJobAlert.

SAIL Rourkela has also started a year-long trade apprentice programme for 350 trainees.

The first batch began an induction workshop on October 27, 2026, according to PSU Connect.

So how can a young person earn a little on the side?

A simple idea is home tuition for school students. Start with one subject you know well, such as maths or English.

First, list the classes you can teach and the time you can give. Then tell friends, neighbours and local parents about it.

You can also put a short notice on a local shop board. Keep the fee fair and tell parents what they will get.

Income will depend on your area and how many students you find, so start small.

What does PM Mudra Yojana offer small businesses?

PM Mudra Yojana, or PMMY, gives collateral-free loans for small non-farm businesses.

Banks and other lenders provide these loans.

The scheme has four categories: Shishu, Kishore, Tarun and Tarun Plus. The category depends on the size of the loan you need.

Check eligibility on the official site before you apply. Ask your bank for the current rules.
